The level of technology inside the silo is pretty outdated, compared to the level of tech that allows a screen that big to project an image that clear 24/7 and even fake videos like this, or even the camera we see outside and the technological level that allows such incredible creation as the silo to be made. Is the wasteland vision what’s truly out there? If so, then what’s the point? A merciful execution maybe? They’re showing him something to keep him excited as he dies being intoxicated by the gas, so that they die with some form of hope/sense of discovery? Or is it an outdated protocol where the people who question their world, get taken into the outside world by human or alien authorities while the illusion is maintain to those who live inside? So once again, the visor is showing footage, not a real time view of the world. Holsten takes off his helmet and then he crawls to his wife, which he couldn’t see seconds ago with the visor on. So that’s another hint that the cleaning bit is quite likely their faces superimposed on an existing footage Why would he go to clean when he just saw his wife laying there in a wasteland? Dirt on a lens doesn’t change an entire footage, it only makes it less clear. Holsten sees a lush green landscape and his wife no in view, even though she was there seconds ago makes no sense. The fact that we only saw Holsten through the screens and inside his helmet/vision and never actually in third person perspective while he’s outside makes it even more certain that the place he’s leaving to is quite likely a form of execution chamber or room with a green screen, so they only take moments of them going out with the rest being manipulated to an extent to show them cleaning

The V shaped bird formation is repeated twice, from the Kathy Becham cleaning footage (I think that’s what her name was) and Holsten’s cleaning.īoth scenes showing exactly the same bird formation, plus seeing the “outside world” through Holsten’s visor, as a glitch on the screen and on Kathy’s cleaning all showing bright sunny daylight, makes it 100% certain that the green landscape is fake In the latest episode, when they cut the power out, the screen glitches to the green landscape for a second, and the power outage supposedly takes place during night time Okay, so let’s go over some points from the show first:
